Import
Load your member list from a CSV or Excel file — Sporty, revolutioniseSPORT or your own spreadsheet — in four steps.
What it's for
Bring an existing member list in at once. One member per row, the column names in the first row, up to 5,000 members at a time. Your existing member numbers are kept, and new members continue past the highest number imported.
Before you start
- The file as
.csvor.xlsx, with at least first name, last name and date of birth per row. - Membership types in Settings so each row can be given one.
Steps
- Open Members › Import (or ⬆ Import members on the roster). The steps are 1 · Upload, 2 · Match columns, 3 · Check, 4 · Done.
Upload the file - Choose the File (.csv or .xlsx) and press Read the file.
- Under 2 · Match columns pair each of your columns with the member field it holds. TBC: the exact fields offered and whether a membership type can be set for all rows at once.
- Under 3 · Check review what will be added, then confirm. TBC: the confirm button's label.
- 4 · Done shows the count. The members are on the Roster.
What success looks like
The roster's ACTIVE and PENDING counters add up to your file's rows, member numbers match your old list, and the next new member gets the number after your highest.
If something goes wrong
- The file will not read: save it as
.csvor.xlsxwith the column names in the first row. - Someone already on Race Bureau with the same name and date of birth is linked to the same person, never duplicated.
