Membership types and prices, what the registration form asks, the club's rules for numbers, season and discounts, and the money details.
What it's for
Four blocks that shape the whole Members area: Membership types, Registration form, Club rules and Money. Set these before you share the join page.
Before you start
- Your club's price list and age bands, your GST number if registered, and the Xero account codes if you export.
Steps
- Open Members › Settings.
Types, registration form, club rules, money - Membership types: press ＋ Add a membership type and give it a name, a price and the ages it covers (for example Junior racer · NZ$ 180.00 · ages 0–17). The join page offers only the types a person's age allows.
- Registration form: it always asks name, date of birth, membership type and a parent's consent for anyone under 18. Switch Emergency contact, Medical notes, Photo consent and Club consent on and mark each Required or not; add up to 20 of Your own questions with ＋ Add a question. Press Save registration form. The club's join address is shown here.
- Club rules: set the member Number prefix and Digits (imported numbers are kept and never issued twice), the month and day the Season starts, the Renewal reminders (days before the season), Family discounts one per line (2: 10% means the second member of a family pays 10% less; the dearest membership pays in full), the Consent text members agree to, and whether Entry includes membership. Press Save rules.
- Money: enter the GST number printed on receipts, the Xero account codes for membership and entry income and the Xero TaxType. Press Save money settings.
What success looks like
The join page offers the right types for each age, asks the questions you need, and receipts carry the GST number.
If something goes wrong
- Club consent will not show on the form: there is no consent text yet — add it under Club rules.
- A type's price changed mid-season: existing fees keep the price they were charged at.
