What it's for

The workspace is where the club's event is built and run. Everything hangs off the dark rail on the left.

The rail: account, the seven steps, the foot
The workspace with an event open

The rail, top to bottom

  • RB tile with your name — the account menu: Profile, Plan & billing, Club points lists, Help & support, Log out.
  • The seven steps, grouped as PREPARE IT, RUN IT and PUBLISH IT. Entries and Bibs & start lists show the count of competitors in the active race.
  • The foot: the live button (NOT LIVE until live timing is on — it opens the Timing Desk with the live surfaces), Inbox (entry forms sent to your club, with a count of what is waiting), Members (roster, join & renew, families, payments), Settings, and a dot each for T-Box and SkiPro showing whether a timing device or the external timing software's connector is connected. The « at the very bottom collapses the rail to icons.

The seven steps in order

  1. Set up — get the event ready: event info, parameters, header and printing, run sheet, race notice, invite the TD and the timer, event access and chat.
  2. Crew — the people who run it: volunteers and their roster, coaches, the Race Relay groups.
  3. Entries — who is racing: add, upload, import and check competitors; Manage Competitors is the field.
  4. Bibs & start lists — the draw, the numbers, the sheets; export to timing.
  5. Race day — the morning of the race: the pre-race checklist, activate the event, clear the chat.
  6. Timing Desk — the desk, the timing devices, data management and start lists for timing.
  7. Results & publish — times out, race closed: results, timing report, penalty calculation, submit to FIS, archive.

Each step opens its own side menu, grouped by job (for example Entries: EMAIL, COMPETITORS, IMPORT, CHECKS, COACHES, PRINT / PDF, DOWNLOADS). The ✎ beside the step name customises how those buttons show (TBC: confirm it opens Settings › Side menu).

The Events window and the Active race

  • At the top of the side menu sits the event switcher: the club and the open event (No event open · My events before you pick one). It opens the My events menu: + Create event, then EVENTS (All events, FIS events, Archived, Club races) and CHAMPIONSHIPS (Championships, Club points lists), with Sign out at the end. Pick an event lists the events with an Open button each; All-access / Appointed only and the club filter narrow the list.
  • Under it, ACTIVE RACE names the race every screen works on (for example D-1 · GS · Men · 0991). Change opens the list of the event's races; pick one and every step, the desk and the live surfaces follow it.

What success looks like

An event is open, the active race is the one you mean, and the step you need is one click on the rail.
