The pay page

What a parent or coach sees when they pay: the lines, the total, card, bank transfer with an RB- reference, or pay later at the desk.

What it's for

One pay page behind every door: joining or renewing (the emailed link), the family's page, and a coach entering a race. It lists the fee lines with a tick each, the Total, and up to three ways to pay, as the club allows under Club payments:

  • Pay NZ$…: card, through the club's own Stripe (Apple Pay and Google Pay come with it). One receipt.
  • Pay by bank transfer: the club's account name and number, the Amount, and the payer's own Reference, RB- plus six characters with no look-alike letters. The club's statement comes back with it and the desk matches the lines by it. One receipt when it is marked paid.
  • Pay later / at the desk: nothing changes; the lines stay due and the club marks them paid when the money arrives.

Nothing is recorded as paid from the page itself; Stripe's confirmation or the desk does that.

Steps

  1. Open the pay link (from the joining email, the family page or the coach's entry).

  2. Untick any line you are not paying now. The Total follows.
  3. Press Pay NZ$… for card (Stripe's checkout opens and brings you back), Pay by bank transfer (the account and your reference appear; use the reference exactly), or Pay later / at the desk.

What success looks like

After a card payment the receipt arrives by email and the lines read paid; after a bank transfer the lines stay due until the club matches the statement and marks them paid.

If something goes wrong

  • The club takes payment at the desk: the club offers neither card nor bank transfer.
  • Nothing to pay — you are all square: every line is paid.
  • A bank transfer typed with an O for a 0 does not match: the club's Bank transfers screen lists the row as unmatched for a person to settle.
