What it's for

The TD is invited per event. On a FIS event FIS assigns the TD and the card fills itself; use this for non-FIS races, or as a fallback. An invited TD gets read access to everything the organiser sees plus the coaches' list — they verify, they do not edit entries. Once the event is archived they can still read it.

The Technical Delegate card under OFFICIALS on the Set up side menu shows the state: ⚠ needed, Invite pending with the email, or ✓ and the TD's first name.

Before you start

  • The TD's name and email address.

Steps

  1. Press 1 Set up. Under OFFICIALS, press Invite on the Technical Delegate card (it reads Manage once someone is invited).
Search an existing TD, or type a name and email
    Invite a Technical Delegate
  2. Type in Search existing TDs — your club's TDs by name, anyone on Race Bureau by their exact email — and pick the match. Otherwise type TD name and Email.
  3. Press Send invite.

Someone already on Race Bureau gets an email and a note in their account, and has access once they accept. A new email gets a link to sign up, then accept.

What success looks like

The Technical Delegate card reads Invite pending until they accept, then ✓ with their first name; the TD's own dashboard lists the event; the TECHNICAL DELEGATE row of Header info fills in.

If something goes wrong

  • The invitation has not been accepted: open Event access & chat and press Re-send invitation, or Withdraw it and invite again.
  • The wrong person accepted: Remove from this event on Event access & chat.
