Public live and embedding

Public live is the race on your club's public pages; each public card can be embedded on your own website.

What it's for

Public live puts the race on your club's public home ({club}.racebureau.com) and on racebureau.live. Spectators who do not install Race Relay see the same table the timer sees, sized for a phone or a desktop. A customer's or the club's own website can embed it.

The old club-wide Public broadcast link was retired on 27 Oct 2026: a club's public pages are its home, and each event is shown by its own Off / Live / Test.

Before you start

Steps

  1. On the Timing Desk, press Columns & filters on the Public live tile and choose its columns and filter. Public live has its own setup, separate from the Live display.
  2. Set the tile to Live and switch Live timing on.
  3. Open the club's home and press Live. The race is there while Live timing is on.
  4. To put it on your website: open Settings › Public look, add your site's address under Put it on your website (one address per line, like https://www.yourclub.co.nz), and copy the embed snippet for the Live card into your page.

What success looks like

The club's Live page updates within seconds, and the embed on your website shows the same rows and fits its column.

If something goes wrong

  • The embed shows nothing on your website: the website's address is not in the allowed list under Public look.
  • The public page shows the race after it finished: it stops showing LIVE when the race is over, and the results stay. That is expected.
  • An old /live/… link says This link is no longer in use: it was the retired club-wide link. Send the club's home address instead.
