What the club pays Race Bureau: the free pilot, the plans, the on-site day, the card on file, and the invoices.
What it's for
The club's plan with Race Bureau, never the entry money. YOUR PLAN says where the club stands (Free, the pilot, Annual, Monthly, paused, past due). FREE offers the pilot while places are left: the first clubs get everything free for a set number of months, every club after them is free up to the entry cap per race. CHOOSE A PLAN lists Founding Club, Annual and Monthly, each with Pay by card and Invoice me, and the On-site day switch on a yearly plan. PRIORITY SUPPORT says what annual, Founding Club and pilot clubs get. Invoices lists Stripe's GST invoices once there are any.
Before you start
- You are an admin of the club's account.
Steps
- Open Settings › Money › Plan & billing.
Your plan, Free, Choose a plan, On-site day, Priority support - For the pilot: under FREE, press Start free pilot. The badge beside it counts the places left.
- For a plan: under CHOOSE A PLAN, switch On-site day on if you want it (yearly plans only), then press Pay by card (Stripe's page opens, then brings you back) or Invoice me (an invoice with a Pay invoice link appears under YOUR PLAN).
- On a running plan: Update card opens Stripe's portal; Pause off-season and Resume are on the monthly plan; Cancel plan lets the plan run to its paid-to date and Keep my plan takes the cancellation back.
- Book on-site day books the visit later on an annual plan.
What success looks like
YOUR PLAN reads the plan you chose with its paid-to date, and the entry cap no longer applies.
If something goes wrong
- Card checkout is not configured yet: card payment for plans is not set up on this server; use Invoice me.
- Payment failed: the note names the date to pay by; after that the account is read-only until paid. Nothing is deleted.
