What it's for

Data Management is the run's ledger. It shows, for the active race and the chosen run, the ranking with a counter for every state — List, Classified, Did not start, Did not finish, Disqualified, Not processed — plus the timing checks that flagged a time, and who still has no time. Use it to see at a glance who is still Un-processed before you prepare run 2 or release results.

Before you start

  • The ACTIVE RACE picked in the header. Data Management follows it and works on no other race.

Steps

  1. Open Timing Desk › Data Management.
  2. Pick the run with ‹ Run 1 / 2 ›.
  3. Read the counters. Not processed is the number of racers with no time and no status on this run.
  4. Choose Ranking › Event (the race's own rule: best of runs, total) or Run (this run's times only).
  5. A row with ⚑ was flagged by a timing check. Read the Timing checks table under the ranking — rule, the times compared, the result — and press Mark reviewed when you have looked at it.
  6. Press Status to give a racer a status from here (TBC: what the Status button opens on this screen).

What success looks like

Not processed is 0 and every row has a time or a status before you prepare run 2 or release the results.

If something goes wrong

  • No times yet — open Timing: nothing has been timed on this run yet.
  • A racer is Un-processed though they finished: their finish impulse has no number. Give it the bib on the desk (see Timing Desk).
  • A time is flagged but correct: press Mark reviewed. The check does not change the time.
