What it's for

A two-run race is two desks and two lists. Run 2 cannot be prepared until Run 1 is complete — every racer on the Run 1 list has a time or a status — and Run 2 has its own light, its own start list and its own ranking. This page is the whole second half of the race, in the order it happens.

The chain

  1. Finish Run 1 — every bib on the list has a run time or a status; the status buttons mark DNS, DNF, DSQ; a missed impulse waits for a hand time from the calculator in Modify data. → Timing Desk · Status buttons · Modify data and hand time
  2. Check the ledger — Data Management on Run 1: Not processed must read 0, and any ⚑ from the timing checks is looked at and marked reviewed. → Data Management
  3. Prepare Run 2 — Manage Start Lists › Run 2 › Options ▾ › Prepare from ranking of another run: Run 1, Bibo 30 reversed by default (15 if the Jury decided), Selected for how many go on, Ranked in run 1 or Everyone; Add, then OK. → Run 2 · Manage Start Lists
  4. Print and release the Run 2 start list — the Run 2 tab on Start lists prints what the desk prepared; Box the top group boxes the reversed group; 📣 Release now sends it to the phones and the public page. → Start lists
  5. Switch the desk to Run 2 — press › beside Run 1 so the header reads Run 2 / 2, then open the race with the light. The light is per run: Run 1's green does not carry over. → The traffic light
  6. Time Run 2 — the Start queue lists the Run 2 order with NEXT TO START on the 30th of Run 1; impulses, statuses and hand times work as on Run 1. → Timing Desk
  7. Read the results — Ranking › Event is the race's own rule from Event info (total of runs, best of runs); Run is this run's times only. The Results sheet shows the event ranking with total, gap and race points; Run ranking and Run analysis show one run. → Results
  8. Release — title the sheet Provisional Results or Official Results, 🖨 Print PDF, 📣 Release now. → Release results

What success looks like

Every bib has a time or a status in both runs, Not processed reads 0 on both, the Run 2 start list reads ✓ Released, and the results sheet lists everyone classified in the event ranking.

If something goes wrong

  • Prepare from ranking of another run is greyed with Run 1 is not finished yet — N still to start or on course: give those racers a time or a status first.
  • Add is greyed with Run 1's start list comes from the draw: the dialog is on Run 1; pick Run 2 under RUN.
  • Impulses arrive on Run 2 but nothing is stored: the light is LOCKED on this run.
  • A racer is missing from Run 2: they are under Not racing in the dialog with the reason, or outside Selected.
  • The second-run order the Jury wants is 15 reversed: type 15 in Bibo; Race Bureau reverses 30 by default (ICR 621.11).
