Start lists
The run 1 and run 2 start lists as printed sheets: your columns, the race's own copy, Print PDF, Release, Withdraw, and the upload to the live boards.
What it's for
The start list sheet for the Active race, one tab per run. Run 1 is Race Bureau's own draw in Race Bureau's own layout; the sheet keeps that order even while the race streams, and you change it on the draw screen. Run 2 is the list the Timing Desk prepares from run 1's ranking. Each prints to PDF, releases to the coaches and the public, and can be withdrawn.
Before you start
- Run 1: the race drawn and bibs assigned on the draw screen. Without bibs the sheet says ⏳ Run 1 start list — nothing for this race yet.
- Run 2: the list prepared at Timing Desk › Run 2 › Start List (Manage Start Lists).
Steps
- Open Bibs & start lists › Start lists under Print / PDF. The sheet opens on Run 1 with its preview on the right; the line above says 🎲 Start order: Race Bureau draw.
Run 1 · Run 2, the panel on the left, the pages on the right - Press Columns & Filters to set the sheet: the columns with WIDTH % and ALIGN (Order, Bib, Code, Last name, First name, Year, Nation, Points…), SHEET TITLE, and under SHEET OPTIONS tick Box the top group for a fine line before the first and after the last of the top 15. Options ▾ saves it as your default, for this event, for the other gender or for every race this day (Columns & Filters).
- Page through with ‹ Previous / Next › and press 🖨 Print PDF.
- Press 📣 Release now. The button turns to ✓ Released 09:45 am → ROC + app: the sheet is on the club's documents and in Race Relay. 📣 Release again replaces it; 🗑 Withdraw takes every copy back.
- Press Run 2 for the second run's sheet; Box the top group there boxes the group the run reversed (15 unless the Jury said otherwise).
- To put the list on the live boards (website, race page, phones, big screen) press ⬆ UPLOAD MEN / ⬆ UPLOAD WOMEN. MANUAL UPLOAD switched the other way uploads by itself when the live draw goes off.
What success looks like
The PDF prints in your layout, the button reads ✓ Released …, the coaches see the sheet in Race Relay, and the live boards carry the list.
If something goes wrong
- ⏳ Run 1 start list — nothing for this race yet: no bibs on this race. Assign them on the draw screen. When external timing software times the race the sheet can also come from the connector's live feed.
- The sheet shows another race's list: the Active race changed. Check the bar at the top.
- Run 2 is empty: prepare it at the Timing Desk first; this sheet only prints what the desk holds.
- You released the wrong version: 🗑 Withdraw, fix it, 📣 Release again.
