Race on this device
Put the race on this computer or iPad so the Timing app can time it with no internet.
What it's for
In the Race Bureau Timing app the This device menu has two pages: Race on this device and Backups & USB export. Race on this device brings the chosen race down onto the device — competitors, the run 1 start list, the timing desk of every run, race settings and FIS data, timing devices, list formats and filters, logos and fonts for printing — and keeps it current while the device is online, so the race can be timed with no internet.
Before you start
- The Timing app open (
/timing), with an event open and a race picked in the race picker. - Run 1 drawn online: a race with no start list is Not ready to time offline.
Steps
- Open This device › Race on this device.

- Not ready to time offline — Run 1 start list: No start list yet — draw run 1 online first: draw the run on Bibs & start lists, then Update now.
- Update now is greyed: the device is offline. It updates when the connection is back.
