Add yourself to Race Relay as the TD; you land in the event's ROC / Jury group. The organiser runs the groups.
What it's for
Race comms run on the phone app, Race Relay. This page connects your phone: scan the code (or copy the link) and you are added to the event's ROC / Jury group as the TD, with no login. There is nothing else to set up here; the organiser runs the groups and their members. A live preview of the phone app sits beside the card. An observer (a read-only TD view) does not see this page.
Steps
- Open Comms from the side menu.
Add myself to the app, and the phone preview - On your phone, open the app's address and add it to the home screen (see Install Race Relay).
- Scan the code under Add myself to the app, or press Copy link and open it on the phone. The link expires in about 15 minutes; reopen the page for a fresh one.
What success looks like
The phone shows the event's ROC / Jury group under Chats, and the organiser sees you in the group's members.
If something goes wrong
- Couldn't prepare a link — make sure you're signed in: sign in again and reopen Comms.
