Claim athletes

The coaches' screen: claim your racers on the released list, confirm Racing or Not racing, add a missing athlete.

What it's for

Your athletes is the released competitor list for one race day. A coach claims their racers and says who is racing; the timer's desk shows the answer as a green tick. Nothing to submit: every tap saves.

A club admin opens the same screen as the club (⚙︎ › Check your athletes); anything they claim is marked as claimed by the club.

Before you start

  • A coach identity on this phone (see Coach).
  • The organiser has published the day's list; nothing shows until they do.

Steps

  1. Tap 👤 › 🎿 Check your athletes. The header names the club, the event and the day.

  2. With more than one list published, pick the race under Which race?.
  3. Filter with the gender chips, Mine or Unclaimed; group 🌐 By nation or ⌁ By points.
  4. Tap ＋ Claim on each of your racers. The button becomes ✓ Mine; tap it twice (Tap again — release) to let a racer go.
  5. Beside ✓ Mine tap Racing or Not racing. With several races on the event, Races… answers per race; Some races shows a mixed answer.
  6. Tap ＋ Add a missing athlete at the top for a racer not on the list: last name, first name, racing as, and optionally nation, year and FIS code. The race office sees them under Coaches Entries with a CHECK.

Coach's choice at the top lists the racers you claimed last time with this club; one tap claims them all.

What success looks like

The bar at the bottom reads ✓ N claimed · N racing and saved as you tap; a racer on the list to confirm is still waiting for Racing or Not racing.

If something goes wrong

  • pulled by TIMER — an official withdrew the racer; a coach cannot reinstate them.
  • ✓ <other club> — another coach already holds this racer.
  • That didn't save. Check your signal and try again. — the tap was not recorded; tap once more with signal.
