Modify competitor
The selected competitor's full dialog: details, points, the races they run on this event, paid, their coach, and withdraw or delete.
What it's for
One dialog for everything about one competitor on this event. It opens three ways that are the same thing: the Modify competitor row in the menu, ✎ Modify on the bar that appears when you click a row, or a double-click on the row.
Before you start
- A competitor selected on Manage Competitors. The menu row is greyed until you click a row (Select a competitor in the list first).
Steps
- Click the competitor's row, then open Entries › Modify competitor (or press ✎ Modify on the bar at the foot, or double-click the row). The dialog is headed Modify competitor NAME · code.
Competitor, points, notes, this event's races, the coach - COMPETITOR: Bib (for the Active race only; bibs are per race, the athlete's other races keep theirs), Last Name, First Name, Code, Gender, Year, Nation, Source and Race Status.
- POINTS: Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super-G, Downhill, Cup Points. They default to the loaded FIS list; type to override for this entry.
- NOTES: anything about this athlete, kept on the event.
- THIS EVENT: one line per race on the event. Tick the races this athlete runs; untick to withdraw them from a race. Tick Paid to record that race's fee; ↺ Mark all unpaid clears them.
- COACH: who has claimed this athlete in Race Relay. 🏢 Claim for the ROC puts the athlete under the race office.
- Press ✓ OK. 🗑 Delete removes the athlete from the event outright; withdrawing (untick the race) is the reversible way.
What success looks like
The row on Manage Competitors shows the new values and the saved note on hover; a withdrawn race moves the athlete into the withdrawn counter for that race.
If something goes wrong
- The row refuses to save: the list is published and locked for that day. Unlock it on the bar at the foot of the list.
- A delete is refused: the competitor already has collected times. Withdraw them instead.
