Add competitor
Add one competitor by hand; a FIS code is cross-checked against the loaded list as you add.
What it's for
The door for a late entry or an athlete with no form: one competitor, typed in. The dialog shows only the fields switched on in Competitor fields, and the row it makes carries the source Manual.
Before you start
- The Active race set to the race the athlete runs.
- The athlete's FIS code, if they have one, and the FIS points list loaded.
Steps
- Open Entries › Add competitor. The New competitor dialog opens.
Competitor on the left, points and more on the right - Under COMPETITOR fill in FIS code, Last name, First name, Gender (required) and Year.
- Under POINTS & MORE fill in Nation, a Bib if one is already settled, and the points columns. A FIS code is checked against the loaded list: the row lands ACTIVE when it is on the list and CHECK when it is not.
- Press ✓ OK.
What success looks like
The new row is on Manage Competitors with source Manual and the counters have moved by one. Tick the row green when the athlete is confirmed racing.
If something goes wrong
- The dialog refuses: Gender is empty, or the list is published and locked (unlock it on the bar at the foot of the list).
- The row says CHECK: the FIS code is not on the loaded list. Check the code, or load the current list under FIS points list.
