What it's for

Entries is step 3 of the rail: Who is racing. It opens on Manage Competitors, the one list of the race's field, and every other door in the step's menu branches off that list.

Competitors reach the list five ways:

Whatever the way in, the rule is the same: only a competitor with a green tick is racing. The draw, the run 1 start lists and the copy dialog all read that tick and nothing else. A pale tick means nobody has answered yet, and that competitor is not drawn.

The menu, top to bottom

Two things sit on the list itself rather than in the menu: Columns & Filters (what the list shows) and the bar at the foot of the list that publishes the list to the coaches and locks it.

Before you start

  • An event with at least one race (Event info).
  • For a FIS race, the current FIS points list loaded (FIS points list) so codes, points and quotas can be checked.

What success looks like

Every competitor you expect is on Manage Competitors with a green tick, the CHECK counter reads 0, and the list is published and locked for the coaches before the draw.
